Obrien becomes a service company.
O’Brien are well known for their car windscreen repairs. In 2018 they expanded their services to include Electrical and Plumbing – a move which required a rethink of how they presented themselves online.
No longer just a marketing site
Previously O’Brien managed two separate sites - one for Auto glass repairs and one for home and businesses. These served as info points for customers, but didn’t offer much more than that.
Our proposal was to merge the two offerings into a single site, and offer service verticals that now included plumbing and electrical side by side with glazing and auto glass. We would then integrate the site experience with Google search to create a streamlined experience taylored to whatever the customer was looking for.
Every page is a possible site entry point.
We structured the entire site around the fact that google will be bringing users in to service and vertical pages most often from searches for leaky taps to broken windscreens. Designed lean for a fast load, every page contains a booking entry point that displays relavent content to the page they are on. Understanding the intent of the customer, this allowed us to take leads and pass them to the best O’Brien expert for the job.
